Fawn Mckay

Fawn McCay Brodie, born at Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Born into the Mormon Church's original family Fawn McKay directed her ingenious creative writing skills and impressive abilities in research to create the brilliant psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945, entitled"No Man Knows My History. That title was taken from a funeral sermon given by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844, when he shocked those he addressed with the words: You don't know me you never knew my heart. No man knows my history. I don't know. Fawn 29, a woman of 29 years old, has written: "Since that moment of honesty at least three scores writers have risen to the task." The documents do not lack however they contradict each the other. Compiling these documents - - by sifting through third-party and first-hand sources, fitting Mormons' narratives to other people's history - is challenging. I find it both fascinating as well as eye-opening. It's a task which Fawn Brodie devoted herself professionally. Thaddeus Steves became a global fame due to the research she conducted and her writing. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. A personal history of Richard Nixon (1974) as well as posthumously Richard Nixon.
