Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. The actress grew up having big hopes. Her greatest roles are the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the dramatic Precious. Her childhood was spent living in Los Angeles where she came from a family of middle-class. Her mother was a film fan and urged her to enjoy films when she was a kid. Paula was a participant in co-curricular programs at her school and enjoyed drama. Her classmates and she played together and was a part of the school's productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School gave her many opportunities to act during her high school years and she picked acting to pursue a career. She went to an acting program at the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved the experience. The program was the PBS project for three months to shoot documentaries. She started as production assistant for television documentaries, after completing her assignment. After that, she started producing documentaries. However, she had always wanted to become an actress, even though she was happy in her present work. She began her acting career by playing a minor character in the romantic comedy film Hitch with Will Smith. In the years since, she's played in numerous popular films as well as TV shows.
