Maria Brink

 Maria Brink was born December 18th 1977. She is an American singer/songwriter. In This Moment has gone through seven studio albums and earn four nominations, two from Alternative Press Music Awards, one from the Grammy Awards, and one from the Loudwire Music Awards.Brink has been honored with "Rock Goddess of the Year" in the third (2013) and fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards, "Hottest Chick in Metal" in the year 2010. She was named one of the 11 females from heavy metal who count by Yell! Revolver Magazine recognized Brink as one of the Hottest 25 Chicks in Hard Rock & Metal in 2012 and Pulse in Albany, New York. In 2002, she was 25, she moved to Los Angeles to find a band to work with Before having a band, Brink worked in shops, as well as in coffee shops and bars. On an audition, Brink was introduced to Chris Howorth in 2004. Howorth was initially reluctant to sign up Brink as a singer since she was an asian woman. Two weeks later, Howorth apologized and then hired Brink as the lead singer. They came together as Dying Star together with Jeff Fabb, drummer. Then, Blake Bunzel, guitarist and Josh Newell, bassist joined the group. After a while, the group changed their name to In This Moment
